WBBSE Board 10th Result 2021 Released Tomorrow
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has declared the date for the release of WB Class 10 Result 2021. WBBSE Madhyamika result will be declared by the state board on 20th July 2021 at 10 am. After the declaration of the result, the 10th class students will be able to check their result on the official website wbresults.nic.in.

The notice issued by the board states that, the declaration of the secondary result for both regular and external will be done in a press conference to be held by the board on July 20 at 9 AM in the meeting hall, Derozio Bhawan, 1st Floor, DJ-8 . , Sector II, Kolkata-700091. The result link will be activated for the students from 10 am onwards.
10th exam was canceled due to corona
This year around 12 lakh candidates had registered for the 10th class examination in the state. However, the state government had canceled the 10th board exam in view of the increase in the number of Kovid-19 cases across the country. Announcing the cancellation of the examinations, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said that the expert panel constituted to recommend the issue of cancellation or postponement of the examination will take the best decision on the alternative evaluation method keeping in mind the interest of the students.

As per the evaluation criteria, the class 10 result is based on the 50:50 formula. As per the formula, 50 percent weightage has been given to the marks obtained in the annual examination of class 9 and 50 percent weightage to the internal assessment for each subject in class 10.
No merit list will be issued
Along with this, the West Bengal Board has also announced that this time there will be no merit list. WBBSE President Kalyanmoy Ganguly has said in the official notification that, “There will be no merit list this time, Class 10 (Secondary) candidates can download the score sheet by logging on to the designated websites from 10 am on Tuesday. “
