Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) is likely to declare the class 10th and 12th results by July 15. Though the board has not announced the official date yet, reports claim that the result is almost ready and will be declared within five days. After its release, it will be available on the official website of the board, upmsp.edu.in.

U.P Board Result based on special criteria will do declared

Like most of the boards this year, UPMSP will also declare the result on the basis of special criteria. No merit list will be issued this year due to non-conduct of examinations, hence toppers will not be announced for any class. It is worth noting that the result of 56 lakh students is going to come in the UP board next week. A total of 56,04,628 students have registered for the UP Board exam which includes 29.4 lakh class 10 students and 26.10 lakh class 12 students.

Students need to get at least 35% marks

To pass the exam, students need to get at least 35 percent marks, while some boards including Maharashtra, Telangana have decided to pass this year by not failing any student and giving grace marks to the students who fail to get the minimum marks. has decided. However, the UP Board has not made any such announcement yet.

UP Board has prepared 10th-12th result with this formula

According to the board, class 12 students will be given marks on the basis of their class 10 and class 9 performance. Out of the total marks, 50 percent weightage will be given to class 10 board exam, 10 percent weightage will be given to class 12 pre-board and 40 percent weightage will be given to class 11 exam. While for the calculation of class 10 marks, 50 percent weightage will be given to class 9, the remaining 50 percent will be given to class 10 pre-board.

Talking about last year, 74.64 percent students passed the UP Board Class 12 exam. Whereas in 2019 the pass percentage was 79.2 percent. The pass percentage of class 10 in 2020 was 83.31 percent while in 2019 it was 80.07 percent.
