Announcing that Chief Minister N Rangaswamy had said that all the colleges in the Union Territory will also reopen from July 16. But later this decision was withdrawn. The government had said that they have taken this decision keeping in mind the health of the people.
Schools in Uttar Pradesh have been opened for academic work from July 1. But only teachers and non-teaching staff are allowed to come to the school. For the same students, online learning-teaching is going on for the time being. The state government has not yet taken any decision regarding the opening of schools.
State Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has said that schools and colleges will not be reopened for the time being. He said that clinical trials for immunization of students below 18 years of age are still going on, so opening schools and colleges is not possible at this time.
5- Tamil Nadu
No decision has been taken regarding the opening of schools and colleges in the state. At present, the learning and teaching of students has been continued only through online classes.
6- West Bengal
In West Bengal too, the government has not made any announcement regarding the reopening of schools and colleges.
Meanwhile, many states like Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha etc. have started physical classes for class 10th and 12th students with certain conditions.
