Maharashtra Board Will Release SSC Or 10th Result
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the class 10 or SSC results by July 15. School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has confirmed the Maharashtra 10th result. This year the class 10th exam was canceled due to the COVID pandemic and the class 10 result will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained by the student in class 9 exam and internal assessment of class 10.
10th class evaluation criteria
As per the Maharashtra Board’s Class 10 Evaluation Criteria, students will be assessed on the basis of their performance in Class 9 and Class 10. Out of the total 100 marks, 50 marks will be from class 9 performance, class 10 will be thirty marks from year-long internal assessment and 20 marks will be from practical or homework or assignment. Students who had previously cleared the Preliminary and Intermediate drawing examination will be eligible for additional marks in the SSC results as per the extant policies of the State Board. Additional marks will be given on the basis of preliminary exam grade. Students can check their results by visiting these websites mahresult.nic.in and maharashtreducation after it is issued.

It is worth noting that last year SSC result was declared on 29 July and HSC result on 16 July. In class 10, 95.30 per cent students had passed. At the same time, the Maharashtra Board has announced that class 10 students can appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to class 11 or first year junior colleges.
